Terms and Conditions – AuthenticAuthors

AuthenticAuthors is an online platform that that aims to empower Christian writers through a series of interactive writing workshops and webinars. The following constitute the terms & conditions for this platform. By using the services we provide, you agree that you are fully bound by these terms and AuthenticAuthors has the right to update and review these terms at its sole discretion.

•    PAYMENT

The fees for the training (including workshops and webinars) are to be paid by VISA or MasterCard, check, money order or PayPal, depending on your location and availability of payment options in that location.

•    CANCELLATION POLICY

AuthenticAuthors must be informed at least 30 days before the cancellation of your program with us if refunds are to be made. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving your request via bank transfer to the original payer. If you withdraw for any reason less than 30 days before the start date of a course, no refund will be issued. If you fail to attend the course which you booked for without giving prior notice to AuthenticAuthors, we are unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.

E-learning course or packages are not entitled to any refund.

 

•    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

AuthenticAuthors do not accept responsibility for loss of tickets, nor for the loss of personal articles and effects, nor for personal accidents, nor for losses or additional expense due to delays or damages in transportation or other services, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, or warlike conditions, weather or any other causes or for any of the above arising due to participation in the Workshop.

AuthenticAuthors, shall under no circumstances, be liable to any participant for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special damages, including lost profits, even if it has been apprised of the likelihood of such damages occurring.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUTHENTICAUTHORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, LOST OR INACCURATE DATA, FAILURE OF SECURITY MECHANISMS, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, COSTS OF DELAY OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, RELIANCE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS), REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES IN ADVANCE.

 

RETURN POLICY

We will refund an item or order if you are not completely satisfied with it provided it is returned to us in its original, unopened packaging with all the accessories and instructions. To return an item, you will need to contact us within 14 days of receiving the item.

 

•    OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All Training Material is owned by AuthenticAuthors. All intellectual property rights in Training Materials made available, including but not limited to design, graphics and text of printed materials and the audio of all webinars, are owned by AuthenticAuthors. When you are granted access to the Training Material, you are allowed a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Training Material. On no account should any part of the training Material be copied, displayed, posted, reproduced or linked to in any way, without AuthenticAuthors prior permission as such use is completely prohibited and will constitute an infringement of AuthenticAuthors intellectual property rights.

 

•   INDEMNIFICATION

Both Parties hereby agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the other Party and its directors, officers and employees from and against any damages, demands, or liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from a third party claim that the indemnifying Party caused bodily injury (including death) or damaged tangible personal property.

 

•    WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER

AuthenticAuthors ensures that all our training services are delivered diligently and in a timely and professional manner consistent with industry and Christian standards. The training services will be performed as described in the individual class agendas.

AuthenticAuthors does not warrant that content made available online will always be available or be timely or error-free, uninterrupted or that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors, and omissions.

By being a participant of the workshop and webinar, you are that these terms are binding and that you agree to them.
